Honda of Oakland Service Department

Brought my car here in April for a standard service. They did a cursory inspection because items they should have picked up only revealed themselves when i came back in june when the car malfunctioned. The diagnostics were outrageously expensive as were the quoted fixes. They’ll get no more business from me.

The staff was professional, and I felt the service was completed quickly. The prices were a bit high, but that’s to be expected with a dealership garage. I had an oil change and a key reprogrammed. The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the maintenance recommendations that were made after my service. I was given a sheet with “urgent” work that needed to be done, totaling just shy of $9,000 …

You're in good hands with Jeff! Great service, and quick turnaround. Stopped by to have my rear brake pad and routers replace. Dropped my car off at 8 AM and had my car back in action by noon. I appreciated that they didn't try to up-sale me on anything, and even threw in a free car wash. Thanks Jeff!

The service was fine(recall part replacement). However, I had to wait 30 minutes for my car to come out so I could go home. There's a reason we don't do our standard service here and their lack of respect for customers time is it.

AVOID going to this Honda Service Center at all costs if you need fixing. I recently got my car stolen, and when recovered, I needed three things done: 1) Reprogram my two car key fobs, 2) Fix my hanging dome light, and 3) Replace my driver's door lock which was wrecked by screwdrivers.
